UPDATE added Friday, April 16th…
VOTING has begun. Instructions on how to vote can be found by clicking here, or you simply can leave me a comment on this post stating that you’re voting for me (and for my dirty minivan) and maybe include WHY you voted for my van… assuming you are voting for me. If you aren’t voting for me, you’ll have to figure out where to vote for someone else’s minivan. One vote per person, and voting is open until April 25th. 🙂

On Sunday, I mentioned the Dirty Minivan Contest being hosted on Wendy’s Blog. I wrote that I had originally thought she was referring to the outside of the minivans. Well come to find out, there are some who have included exterior pictures of their vehicles. So I thought I would, too.
Please note: All pictures may be clicked on to see a larger, more detailed (and messy) version.
Here is Part I of my entry for the DMV Contest:
The Exterior of our Toyota Sienna
(I am so totally excited to find out that our minivan “rules” simply because it’s the same kind that Wendy has!)

Part II of my entry for the DMV Contest:
The Interior of our Toyota Sienna
I started to label this picture (like Barbie did in some of hers and like reigning champion Mel did in some of hers) but decided I’d let the mess “speak” for itself. 🙂

For the life of me, I cannot figure out why this picture doesn’t show up when you click on it. Does anyone know why?

At this point, I’m taking a break to assess the situation. How many more photos do the judges really need (much less want) to see in order to prove to them that this minivan definitely qualifies to be in improve my chances of winning this contest? (I haven’t even made it past the area in between the two front seats yet.)
Moving right along…

Here’s “only” 14 of the 54 photos I took today of our illustrious minivan. I may add more later because I didn’t even get to the stuffed pocket on the back of the driver’s seat or the “cubbies” next to the back row seat (including hidden treasures galore) or the…
Oh well… I’m off to “link up“!
Let me know what you think!

you are making me feel slightly better about my yuck-mobile.
Is this a hint I need to wash the van? 🙂
Not a hint to you, Paul, but a hint to all the pollen to lay off! (pun intended!)
Not feeling so bad about my van now! It’s pretty comparable!

There is so much love here.
I’m so glad you recognize love when you see it, Wendy! 😉
oh Anita….I think you have de-throned me.
nice work. I am impressed.
I see a rubber chicken in your future.
Woo hoo, Mel! I’m so excited! 🙂
Love the bottle of hand sanitizer in the mix. My husband says you need it after being *in* your car.
From one DMVer to another…nice work. Definitely feeling the love.
I am voting for this dirty minivan. Good Luck!
Thanks Cathy!
I’m voting for Anita, my wife, out of loyalty and the fact that I think as dirty as our minivan is, it’s missing that certain something, that joie de vivre, that savoir faire, that well, that rubber chicken. Would go great on the dash. Anywhere else and it would get lost in the pile.
Okay, I didn’t count your husband’s vote so it upped your percentage a bit. But that missing piece he was talking about was a cup-toilet! Thanks for participating. Lovin’ your ride!
One more thing, I just added a special fake award title for you.
