Thank you for wanting to know more about me. Very often, it’s easier to know more about a person by listening to what their friends and others have to say about them. Among other things, I’m told that I’m a great writer, intelligent, caring, passionate, and a bit of an over-thinker.
In no particular order… I’m a daughter, wife, grandmother (by marriage), mother, sister, niece, friend, unpublished writer, dog-lover, world traveler, …
I’m proud to call myself an army brat even though I’ve not really blogged much about it. (This blogpost tells a little about it. Perhaps at some point I’ll blog more about that time in my life because it still impacts me quite a bit.)
I have battled depression and its effects for nearly 30 years. I intend to never give up hope that one day I’ll be healed from it completely or will have learned what it takes to overcome it.
The year 2020 turned my world upside down (yet again), as I’m sure it did for many, many people. I am now extremely skeptical of the media, ANY government, (alleged) scientists, and the health care industry.
I’m a follower of Jesus. I view my faith as a personal relationship and not as a religion. (I cringe at the thought of someone thinking I’m religious.)
