Earlier today, when I saw that Busy Mommy Media is doing a six week focus on diabetes, I decided I’d like to blog about it. Having spent most of my high school years with a very close friend who has diabetes, I have a special place in my heart for people with diabetes. And, even though it’s been nearly 10 years since I’ve seen this friend (and 20 years since we lived in the same town), I still feel a close connection to her.
During this six week journey, there will be a couple of giveaways, an article about raising children with diabetes, a look into the life of someone who is living with Type I diabetes, and other features that will help to explain diabetes and how it affects us.
